LOCATION: Veteran’s Park at Milwaukee Lakefront off of Lincoln Memorial Drive, just north of the Milwaukee Art Museum

SCHEDULE: Registration Opens at 7:30 A.M. | 5K Run Begins at 10:00 A.M. | 5K Walk Begins at 10:15 A.M. | Race will be timed for those who elect to be timed.

This will be our Fifth Annual STRAIN FOR THE BRAIN and will be on May 12, 2012. The majority of the funds raised will benefit LOCAL brain tumor research, largely through Froedtert and the Medical College of Wisconsin’s research projects (through the Froedtert Foundation), but some of the proceeds will also go toward NATIONAL and INTERNATIONAL research. Our goal is not only to raise funding for brain tumor research, but also to raise awareness of the issues that brain tumor patients and their loved ones endure on their journeys. On-site registration and T-shirt pick-up opens at 7:30 a.m. Team Captions should pick up all of the team’s T-shirts at one time.

All donations and fees are tax-deductible as STRAIN FOR THE BRAIN IS A 501(c)(3) CHARITABLE ORGANIZATION.
